American rock and funk drummer and multi-instrumentalist. Born September 05, 1947 in Omaha, Nebraska, died February 26, 2008 (age 60) in Austin, Texas. Prominent session musician. Worked as a sideman in the Dick Clark Revue, 1963-64. With Wilson Pickett, 1965-66. In Michael Bloomfield's Electric Flag, 1967. In Jimi Hendrix's Band of Gypsy's, 1969-70. Was the voice of The California Raisins, the claymation TV ad characters.
