Biography
American songwriting trio fom New York, collaborating from 1962 to 1966.
They first met in 1960, but started to write songs together in 1962. The collaboration ended due to the divorce of Ellie Greenwich and Jeff Barry, after 1966, Barry became California resident.
Some of their songs are a good example for the Phil Spector-creation "Wall of Sound", which means a strong instrumentation by a background orchestra.
