American pianist, bandleader & songwriter known for song "I Hear a Rhapsody"
Born January 17, 1899 in Illinois, USA.
Died October 1971 in New York, USA.
Gasparre co-wrote the hit song "I Hear a Rhapsody" with George Fragos and Jack Baker. Another top song he wrote/co-wrote was "Let Me Whisper I Love You" (co-written by De Rio, Edward Heyman, Murmullo & Rosello).
Gasparre led a society orchestra during the 1930s-40s which performed at the New York Plaza Hotel and the Ambassador in Los Angeles.
