Biography

Irwin Steven Goldstein (born 1952) is a former American diplomat, government official, and businessman who served as Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs at the United States Department of State during Secretary Rex Tillerson's tenure in the first Trump Administration. He was also Assistant to the Secretary and Director of Public Affairs at the United States Department of the Interior under Manuel Lujan Jr. during the Presidency of George H. W. Bush. In the private sector, Goldstein directed communications at several large financial services companies, including as Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer at AllianceBernstein and Executive Vice President and Chief Communications Officer at TIAA-CREF. He was also Vice President, Corporate Communications at Dow Jones & Company. Goldstein is Chief Communications Officer at the Long-Term Stock Exchange (LTSE), a stock exchange based in New York City.
