Irish engineer from Cork. FOH and live sound engineer for U2 September 25, 1978, (first date in Cork), full time since 1980.
1978-1980 - independent business owner (sound-hire in Cork)
1974-1978 - with Rory Gallagher as sound engineer / lighting technician (world tour)
1970-1973 - sound / lighting technician for Irish band Sleepy Hallow (Ireland and UK tour as opening act for Gallagher)
He played with a Cork band, Chapter Five, in the late 1960s and played bass with another legendary Leeside outfit, Sleepy Hollow

He has also worked with REM, The Cranberries, David Bowie, Stevie Nicks, and The Undertones.
