He has worked with Joni Mitchell on 13 albums and also served as engineer and producer for Neil Young, Van Morrison, Leonard Cohen, Joan Baez, The Flying Burrito Brothers (opens in a new tab), Jackie DeShannon and Leon Russell, among others.
