American Jazz and Blues photographer, record producer and recording engineer.
Born October 29, 1927 in Nassau, Bahamas.
Dead January 20, 2007 in Santa Barbara, California
The son of Jamaican parents, he was one of the first African-American executives in the recording industry.
Photographer and, later, producer for in the 50s and early 60s. He was Jazz A&R director there from 1957 to September 1962 when he left to take the director of jazz operations position at.
Later, he was head producer and A&R executive for and during 60s and 70s.
