Biography
Richard Thomas Bell (born October 18, 1960) is an American former professional football player who was a running back for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Saint John's Johnnies. Born in St. Cloud, Minnesota, Bell attended Rocori High School, about 20 miles (32 km) south-west of the city, and Saint John's University in nearby Collegeville Township. He went undrafted in the NFL and signed for the Vikings during the 1983 season; he played 14 games, but his only statistical contribution was a 14-yard kickoff return in a 13–2 loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 14.
