Biography
Randy Muller’s music career spans more than four decades. As a songwriter, arranger, artist and producer, he has achieved multi-gold and platinum status for his work with such groups as B.T. Express, Brass Construction, Instant Funk, Tamiko Jones, jazz great Charles Earland, and Skyy, to name a few.
Founder and leader of the chart topping R&B/ Funk band Brass Construction, his musical career took root with their debut single, “Movin’,”which", resulted in outta -the-box platinum album sales and three consecutive gold albums, and catapulted the Brooklyn based funksters onto the global music scene.
Today, Randy Muller's music can be heard in radio and TV commercials such as Amazon Alexa, Grand Theft Auto video games, and as samples on tracks by artists from N.W.A., Too Short, The Bucketheads, Lil' Kim, Salt 'N' Pepa, Monifah, Blackstreet, Dr. Dre, DMX, LMFAO, Jill Scott, Mariah Carey, Buju Banton', to "Call Me", featuring Stefflon Don. In addition, classic television shows such as "Martin", "The Keenen Ivory Wayans Show”, “Everybody Hates Chris” and the "Soul Food", "Action Jackson", "Biker Boyz", "The Players Club", and "Beauty Shop" movie soundtracks, among others, all spell continued success for this native of Guyana.
