Biography

Italian lyricist, singer and composer (Torino, 9 Aug., 1951 - Milano, 30 Sept., 2010).
He began his career as a singer with I Protagonisti in 1969 and started writing lyrics while still in the group: among the others, he wrote the Italian lyrics for their version of Bob Dylan's Wigwam. After the group disbanded, he became a full-time lyricist and finally turned into one of the most prolific Italian songwriters of the last 40 years.
He wrote lyrics for artists such as Alberto Radius (most notably: Nel Ghetto), Ornella Vanoni, Loredana Bertè, Fiorella Mannoia, Loretta Goggi, Sandro Giacobbe, Miguel Bosé, Oscar Prudente and many others. One of his latest songs was Il Mio Amore Unico, recorded by Dolcenera for the 2009 Sanremo Festival.
