Married to singer Karen Chandler (June 16, 1950-December 5, 1990, his death).
Born May 11, 1917 in Pennsylvania, USA.
Died December 5, 1990 in Palm Springs, California, USA.
Between 1950-1976, Pleis arranged over 150 recorded songs. He also composed and conducted the music for numerous TV shows and films.
Pleis backed his wife's debut for Coral using her new name, Karen Chandler. The song "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me" became an enormous hit, selling over a million copies, peaking at #5 on the Billboard charts.
