Biography
American songwriter, born 1930 and died October 18, 2002 in Miami, Florida.
Known as co-writer of the song 'Walkin' After Midnight', alongside Alan Block.
In 1958 with songwriter Jack Moon, Hecht formed the label Tod Records with their first sides "Hey Mister Moonbeam" and "Crazy Dreamer", songs they co-wrote and which were recorded by Rex Dennis.
