Biography
American musician, producer and recording engineer, born December 25, 1946, Hoboken, New Jersey; died June 6, 2015, Freehold, New Jersey (age 68).
Started his career as a singer in the 1960s in bands Chips & Company and The Swampseeds. And worked as a recording engineer since the early 1970s. Known to have worked at Big Guy Productions (as an audio engineer), Record Plant, N.Y.C. and RCA Studios, New York (as a recording engineer), and BMG Studios, NY (as master recording engineer).
He was awarded a "Best Historical Album" Grammy Award in 2000 for his engineering work on "The Duke Ellington Centennial Edition: The Complete RCA Victor Recordings (1927-1973) (US 1999) (opens in a new tab)." Served as Governor for the Recording Academy New York Chapter.
