Biography

French singer born in 1974 from parents Bernard Paganotti and Naoko Paganotti. Sister of Antoine Paganotti, and partner in life with Emmanuel Borghi.
Himiko studied ballet as a child and started singing in her teenage years. Her first experience was as backing vocalist for the Senegalese band Touré Touré. At the same time, she joined the pop-rock band Monkey Toon, her first project as lead singer, in which she also started composing.
She collaborated with many artists (Touré Kunda, Sixun, Patrick Gauthier, 13NRV, Juan Rozoff, Régis Ceccarelli, Coco M’Bassi, Céline Bonacina…), and has been a member of the band Magma for 7 years. When leaving Magma, she created the project Paghistree, an electro-pop duo with the pianist Emmanuel Borghi.
After meeting the guitarist John Trap, they orientated their music towards a new trio project, Slug, with which they have recorded two albums.
She still takes part in many various projects today, including Nguyên Lê, Sophia Domancich, John Greaves, Michael Mantler.
