Progeny: Seven Shows from Seventy-Two is a live box set by the English progressive rock band Yes, released in 2015 and consisting of cleaned-up recordings from the band's 1972 tour supporting its album Close to the Edge. This was the first tour in which Alan White was the band's drummer; by the time these shows were recorded, he had been with the group for around three months. The source tapes for this box set were also used to provide the content for much of the band's famous live album Yessongs, but here they have been cleaned up using modern recording technology, resulting in a collection that has been highly praised for its audio fidelity. The box set consists of seven complete shows, spread over fourteen discs. While the set night is the same from night to night, many of the songs are performed somewhat differently on each night (particularly "Yours Is No Disgrace"), and the set includes some oddities such as a local radio station interfering with Rick Wakeman's solo performance during the Toronto show. All seven two-disc sets and the box itself all have their own artwork by longtime Yes artist Roger Dean. Allegedly, some copies of the box set have the Knoxville and Athens shows mislabelled. The Ottawa Civic Centre shows are also referred to by the moniker National Arts Centre English Theatre on the inside of the box (the discs themselves refer to the "Ottawa Civic Centre"), while the Knoxville Civic Coliseum is referred to as the Knoxville Civic Auditorium on the inside of the box (again, the discs themselves refer to the "Coliseum").

"Progeny: Seven Shows From Seventy-Two" is a 14-disc set that holds every note from all seven shows, recorded in the fall of 1972 as the band’s tour jumped from Canada to North Carolina, and then Georgia and Tennessee, before their last stop in New York at Nassau Coliseum on November 20th. This comprehensive set comes in a flip-top box with new artwork by Roger Dean.
As noted in the booklet, the recording of the Finale from Igor Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite used to open each show is from Seiji Ozawa and the Boston Symphony Orchestra's 1969 recording released in 1970 in the UK as RCA Red Seal LSB 4009.
