About
Del shows great respect for Parliament-Funkadelic (the George in the title refers to George Clinton) as he narrated the minutiae of his day. Whether cracking on characters ("Mistadobolina," "Dr. Bombay"), the pitfalls of public transportation ("The Wacky World of Mass Transit"), or unwanted visitors ("Sleepin' On My Couch"), I Wish My Brother George Was Here established Del and the Hieroglyphics crew as forward-thinking mystics, distancing themselves from the gun chatter emanating from other rappers.
