Released at the same time as Blackerthreetracker (UK 1993) (opens in a new tab), blackerthreetracker was a pioneering release by an indie band in the UK, being entirely made up of remixes by other artists, e.g. The Future Sound Of London and Drum Club. The first mix by Trent Reznor brought a lot of attention to the release, as the Nine Inch Nails release of Fixed (US 1992) (opens in a new tab) a year previously was one of the first of its kind.
