Biography
American songwriter (mostly lyricist). Married to Teddy Randazzo (divorced 1977).
Born 1943. Mother of Elisa Randazzo. BMI IPI #40554114, #40554212.
Pike co-wrote numerous songs (mostly with Randazzo) including the hits Rain in My Heart by Frank Sinatra, Yesterday Has Gone by Little Anthony & the Imperials, and I'm Five Years Ahead of My Time by The Third Bardo (co-written with Rusty Evans).
Between 1966-1996, Pike had 14 songs hit the charts in the U.S. and 2 in the U.K. (all but one with her husband Randazzo). Tops among these were Yesterday Has Gone by Cupid's Inspiration (#4 UK, 1968), Rain in My Heart by Frank Sinatra (#63, #3 AC 1968, US) and It Feels So Good to Be Loved So Bad by The Manhattans (#66, #6 R&B, 1977). All of those were written with Randazzo, with the last one also with Roger Joyce.
