Baroque orchestra playing on period instruments based in London, England, UK. Founded by harpsichordist Trevor Pinnock CBE in 1972. He retired as artistic director at the end of 2002. From 2003 to 2007, the orchestra was directed by Andrew Manze. He was succeeded by Harry Bicket.
