Showing the Discogs bio

British pop music promoter, group manager and songwriter; known primarily for co-writing with Marty Wilde in the 60s and Steve Wolfe in the 70s. The Ronnie Scott and Marty Wilde co-writing yielded a.o. a number of songs for the first Status Quo album and their hit "Down the Dustpipe" as well as Lulu's hit "I'm a Tiger".
In 1976, now working in a songwriting and producing team with Steve Wolfe, Scott and Wolfe spotted Bonnie Tyler in a club in Swansea, Wales, and became her managers, songwriters, and producers. They wrote the vast majority of songs for Tyler's first album including the hits "Lost in France", "More Than a Lover" and "It's a Heartache" for her second album.
