Biography
German songwriter and producer, born March 27, 1943 in Mannheim, Germany.
He started his musical career as keyboarder of the Hit Kids in 1965. The year after, Joy Fleming joined the band and they became Joy & The Hit Kids in 1966, which was renamed in 1969 to Joy Unlimited. In 1973, Hans Lingenfelder joined the band and after a couple of time, Heck and his bandmate Gerd Köthe started to produce Lingenfelder's solo career. Under the alias Ricky King, the producer duo Roland Heck & Gerd Köthe played an important part in the long-term success of Lingenfelder.
