US American jazz pianist and composer, Richard "Richie" Beirach, born May 23, 1947 in New York City, died January 26, 2026 in Worms, Germany.
From 2000 to 2014, Richie Beirach had lived in Leipzig and held a professorship for Jazz piano at the Leipzig conservatory "Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy". Since 2015 he has lived in Heßheim.
