US based studio technician born in San Francisco, California, full time mastering engineer for 20 years. Started in 1971 in San Francisco, sometimes working in conjunction with chief mastering engineer George Horn. Moved to Los Angeles in 1979 where worked until the mid-1990s.
Note: Do not confuse with the UK engineer/producer Phill Brown and
Los Angeles recording/mixing engineer Fil Brown often credited as Phil Brown.
