Biography
Paul Weston and His Orchestra was one of the most commercially successful and influential American studio big bands of the 1940s and 1950s. Led by composer, arranger, and conductor Paul Weston (widely dubbed the "Father of Mood Music"), the orchestra pioneered the lush, relaxing instrumental style that laid the foundation for the modern easy listening and lounge music genres.
