Cuban-born American singer, pianist, orchestra leader and songwriter (b. Matanzas, Cuba, 26 September 1902 - d. Burbank, California, 15 September 1987).
Menéndez moved to the United States in 1924 and composed his best-known song "Aquellos Ojos Verdes" = "Green Eyes" in 1929.
