American rhythm & blues and doo wop singer and songwriter, born 29 June 1935 in New Orleans, Louisiana, died 23 October 1976.
In 1951 Lee teamed up with Shirley Goodman (also known as Shirley Mae Goodman-Pixley) to form the popular duo Shirley And Lee. He also made several records by himself, in the 1950s and 1960s.
