Biography

Japanese arranger, guitarist, violinist born July 14, 1952.
In 1973 he made a professional debut as Minako Yoshida's back musician (violinist).
After that, serve as the second guitarist / violinist of はちみつぱい (Hachimitsupai) and the first guitarist of Moonriders.
In 1977, after withdrawing from the group on account of the difference in musicality, he turned into an arranger and producer.
He arranged songs such as "御機嫌如何 (Japan 1987) (opens in a new tab)", and "Desire -情熱- (Japan 1988) (opens in a new tab)".
As a composer, he also provided works for artists such as Nakamura Masatoshi, and Jackie Chan.
He was also active as a guitarist, performing on numerous tours as a regular member of Tatsuro Yamashita's band.
He passed away on February 17, 2026, at the age of 73.
