Born October 19, 1913 in Massillon, Ohio, USA.
Died November 15, 2006 in Newport, Oregon, USA.
Best known as the lyricist of the jazz standard “Moonlight in Vermont” with music written by Karl Suessdorf. Blackburn was a film agent and record distribution manager and song plugger; he had his own record company, and worked for North American Aviation.
Blackburn was the owner.
