Scottish singer, keyboardist, guitarist, and songwriter
Born: 18th October 1946 Paisley, Scotland
Died: 6th July 2024 Paisley, Scotland
Active as a session musician since the late 1960s. Founding member of Stealers Wheel, with Gerry Rafferty amongst others, in 1972. Egan embarked on a solo career after that band disbanded in 1975. He retreated from performing in the early 1980s but continued in the music industry running his own publishing company.
