French pianist, composer, arranger, and conductor, born on November 14, 1943, in Vaires-sur-Marne.
Studied at the "Conservatoire de Paris", then moved towards jazz and played with Dexter Gordon and Kenny Clarke, among others.
He then turns to pop songs, becoming an arranger, orchestrator, and composer for Julien Clerc, Gilbert Bécaud, Serge Lama, Claude François... He also works on musical comedies. He worked as a record arranger and TV conductor before getting into film music composition in the 1980s.
