French music executive, record producer and songwriter (November 27, 1936, Casablanca, Morocco - August 3, 2019, France), best known for his partnership with Jacques Morali and their contribution to the disco craze of the late '70s / early '80s with acts such as The Ritchie Family and Village People.
Belolo began working for Eddie Barclay before joining Polydor as A&R and producer in 1960. He then founded and moved to the US in 1973, where he met Morali and set up Can't Stop Music Productions.
