In 1987, he co-founded the Synth Pop band Celebrate The Nun together with later Scooter bandmate Rick J. Jordan. The band existed until the early 1990's. In the meantime, Baxxter worked for a Techno music distributor, where he met later bandmate Jens Thele for the first time.
