Married to Noel Regney (1951-1973, divorce), with whom she wrote the Christmas carol Do You Hear What I Hear? (1962)
Born September 4, 1923 in Brookline, Massachusetts, USA.
Died March 6, 2008 in Stamford, Connecticut, USA.
She charted twenty-one times in the U.S. and three times in the U.K. between 1958-2019. Her top charting song was "Almost There", a crossover hit by Andy Williams (co-written by Jerry Keller), which hit #67 overall, #12 adult contemporary in the U.S. and #2 overall in the U.K. in 1964. "Goodbye Cruel World" by James Darren hit #3 in the U.S. and #28 in the U.K. in 1961. Also, "The Men in My Little Girl's Life" by Mike Douglas hit #6 overall and #3 adult contemporary in the U.S. in 1965 (co-written by Mary Candy & Eddie Deane).
