Biography
German guitarist, composer and producer, born November 2,1950 in Berlin, older brother of Stephan Diez.
Diez started to play guitar in the mid 1960's and quickly became one of the leading guitarists in the early Kraut- and Bluesrock era in Germany. In the late 1960's, he first played with Emergency and was then one of the founding members of Atlantis, but left the band after the recording of their debut album. In 1974, he was co-founder of the accompanying band of Peter Maffay, the Peter Maffay Band.
