American saxophonist and flutist that played on over 150 Top Ten records. Born October 28, 1935. Died October 11, 2025.
In the 70s he was an in-demand session saxophone player working with artists like Barry Manilow, Carole King, Brook Benton, Peaches And Herb etc. He's also the saxophonist on the huge 1960's hits "Sunny" by Bobby Hebb and "Locomotion" by Little Eva.
At that time he also worked as music contractor for many rock artists and coordinating music to movies like "The Midnight Cowboy" and "The Verdict", "Fame" and many more. He has also written and produced music for children shows and released several albums. His debut album "Confessions Of A Male Chauvinist Pig" in 1973 was a best seller in Europe. In the 2000s he still continued writing and recording for different artists.
