German composer, arranger, orchestra leader and guitarist, born 31 October 1925 in Berlin, Germany, died 20 November 2008 in Baden-Baden, Germany. Studied at the Berlin University of Music; from 1948 chief arranger and second conductor of the RIAS Tanzorchester; from 1954 freelance composer and arranger. 3rd prize in the ARD entertainment music competition in 1981
