Biography

Swedish jazz guitarist and composer, born 25 August 1933 in Gothenburg, Sweden, died 15 June 2012 in Stockholm.
In addition to his activities as a jazz musician, during the late 1950s he was often hired as a solo guitarist on Swedish rock recordings.
Prizes and awards:
1976 – The Jan Johansson scholarship
1997 – Albin Hagström's Memorial Prize
1998 – Thore Ehrling scholarship
2004 – Guitarpeople's Prize
2009 – The Lars Gullin award for being "style-setting for young guitarists in Sweden and abroad"
2010 – The Monica Zetterlund scholarship
