American folk and pop singer-songwriter, guitarist, percussionist, painter, teacher, and experimental musician. Born on January 30, 1939, in Vallejo, California. Died on December 29, 2019, at her Padua Hills home in Claremont, California, USA. She has collaborated with with author, with John Zeretsky, Brian Ransom’s Ceramic Ensemble, Hybrid Vigor with Rebecca Hamm and Mike Henderson, Baboonz with Tom Skelly and Mario Verlangieri, and Native American flutist Steve Rushingwind. On 2022-04-26 Anthology (opens in a new tab) published the book Try To Tell A Fish About Water (The Art, Music, And Third Life Of Norma Tanega), ISBN 978-1-944860-35-6.
