Biography
German guitarist, percussionist and drummer, born July 3, 1953 in Berlin as son of Jazz musician Toby Fichelscher.
He entered the music scene in Munich in 1971, when he was first the second drummer of Amon Düül II. The same year, he joined Niagara for their first album, when Klaus Weiss started his band as a percussion band. In 1973, he joined Popol Vuh, where he played the drums until 1994.
While his membership at Popol Vuh, Fischelscher wrote music for television and continued to play with Amon Düül II. Also, he was part of Gila and Utopia in 1973. In 2006, he returned to Amon Düül II, again as drummer of the band.
