Unsound is a Rock album by Mission Of Burma, originally released in 2012. On Gatefold: 5 pressings tracked.
About
Mission of Burma deconstruct their shambolic art punk into potent hooks on 2012's Unsound. "Dust Devil" is all wiry guitar caught in a funky punk rhythm, while "Semi-Pseudo-Sort-Of Plan" broods in a squall of feedback that oscillates from soft and melodic to loud and chaotic. The album's visceral sounds come with piercing statements: "This is hi-fi!" they chant, mocking tiny audio devices in a salvo of stabbing beats. By closing track "Opener," they’ve fully convinced you to "Forget what you know."
