The Life Pursuit by Belle And Sebastian

The Life Pursuit is an Alt/Indie album by Belle And Sebastian, originally released in 2006. On Gatefold: 25 pressings tracked, owned by 16 collectors.

About

With The Life Pursuit, Belle and Sebastian expanded their sonic palette, taking their signature ‘60s-influenced songwriting and injecting it into sounds like glam rock (“White Collar Boy”) and horn-blasted pomp rock (“Funny Little Frog”). “Mornington Crescent” borders on wistful Americana, with its lazy piano and laidback guitar, and “Another Sunny Day” is jangly rock ‘n’ roll with a nostalgic bent. The toe-tapping guitar riff of “The Blues Are Still Blue” makes it an unforgettable slice of organ-infused classic pop.
