The deeper cuts from Rod Stewart’s extraordinarily fertile first half of the ’70s are lovingly curated here. There’s the stirring folk-rock feel and chiming acoustic instrumentation of “Mandolin Wind” and the whirring organ and mournful fiddle of “Reason to Believe,” plus plenty of shaggy rockers like “Twistin’ the Night Away,” all grunt and swagger. The common element is his distinctive voice, keeping rasp and warmth in perfect balance whether he’s breaking hearts or kicking out the jams.

This release has a single pressing ring @ 69mm. Also, it has "CP" etched in runouts.
Both of these characteristics are indicative of a Columbia pressed record from the Pitman pressing plant that was in New Jersey.
