The 'A' side of this song "That Girl Belongs To Yesterday" was written by Rolling Stones own Keith Richards and Mick Jagger. They had seen what a nice second stream of income that the Beatles had with songs they had written for others and wanted to do it as well. Gene had helped the 'Stones during the recording for their first album and they were returning the favor. The Rolling Stones never released a version of the song.
