There are two different master releases for Only You and Situation
Since some countries issued hybrid singles with elements from both, the forum suggested some guidelines.
Records listed under Situation master should match two or more criteria:
1. "Situation" green-black artwork
2. 3:44 remix version of Situation (Kevorkian credit)
3. Situation clearly labeled as A side or AA side
4. Matrix numbers originating from another unambiguous Situation remix single
"Situation" first appeared as a b-side to the single Only You (UK 1982) (opens in a new tab).
Released in the US & Canada in 1982 (and select territories excluding UK & Europe).
Re-released in 1990, and again in 1999 with new remixes for the compilation Only Yazoo (The Best Of).
