About

"Results May Vary" is the fourth studio album by American nu metal band Limp Bizkit, released on September 23, 2003, through Flip and Interscope Record. It was recorded during a period when guitarist Wes Borland was absent from the band, leaving vocalist Fred Durst as its principal leader. Guitarist Mike Smith, formerly of Snot, participated in the recording, though his involvement was brief, and Durst, along with several guest contributor, performed much of the album’s guitar work. The album marked a stylistic shift compared to the band’s earlier release. While retaining elements of hip hop and nu metal, it incorporated influences from alternative rock, acoustic music, funk, and jazz. The lyrical content featured reduced emphasis on rapped vocals and placed greater focus on personal themes such as relationships and emotional distre. Media reports at the time linked some material to Durst’s interactions with Britney Spears during sessions related to her 2003 album "In the Zone", although accounts of their relationship were disputed. Promotional music videos were produced for "Eat You Alive", featuring Thora Birch and Bill Paxton, and for a cover version of the Who’s "Behind Blue Eyes", featuring Halle Berry. .
