About
Few artists have more skillfully fused pop melodies and dance rhythms than Pet Shop Boys: Their debut album offers an irresistible mix of throbbing drum programming, slinky synthesizers, and unforgettable hooks. Whether he's singing about running away ("Two Divided By Zero") or settling down ("Why Don't We Live Together?"), Neil Tennant brings impeccable delivery and an aching falsetto to his magnetic stage presence. An arch sense of humor sells "Opportunities (Let's Make Lots of Money)," while "West End Girls" balances deep longing with effortless cool.
