About
With his sweet, winsome voice and reverence for America's great musical traditions, James Taylor has a knack for putting us in a good mood—especially on an album like this one. Recorded on the heels of his breakthrough success as an artist, he celebrates his triumphs with upbeat tunes like the jubilant "Love Has Brought Me Around" and Carole King's heartwarming "You've Got a Friend." Always a confessional singer/songwriter at heart, Taylor shows us his contemplative side on tracks like the lonesome "Highway Song."
