About
The country's cold winters might explain why Norwegian production duo Röyksopp conjures such a warm, summery vibe on their debut. Cerebral and playful, Melody A.M. blurs the line between the chill room and the dance floor. "Eple”'s ascending synths ooze like a lava lamp, while "Poor Leno," featuring Kings of Convenience's Erlend Øye, grinds like some of the best house music. Folded between the supple beats are lavish strings, balmy basslines, and synths that whiz by like fireflies. Press play and hear the snow melt.
