EP released in January 1996, between the first two Chemical Brothers albums, Exit Planet Dust (June 1995) and Dig Your Own Hole (April 1997). The original version of 'Chemical Beats' appeared on the former album; a drastically edited version of 'Get Up On It Like This' appeared on the latter. 'Loops Of Fury' and '(The Best Part Of) Breaking Up' were non-album tracks, although 'Loops Of Fury' was included on the 2CD version of Singles 93-03 (UK 2003) (opens in a new tab) (September 2003). Sections of the original version of 'Chemical Beats' and of '(The Best Part Of) Breaking Up' were used on The Prodigy's DJ mix The Dirtchamber Sessions Volume One (February 1999). The title of '(The Best Part Of) Breaking Up' is a reference to the almost identically titled '(The Best Part Of) Breakin' Up' (opens in a new tab), originally recorded by The Ronettes, and released in April 1964.
