About

Innocent Victim is the eleventh album by Uriah Heep. It was recorded between July and september 1977 and released in November 1977. It features the same line-up as the previous album, Firefly. Although it wasn't too popular in the UK or the US, it did well in Australia, New Zealand and germany. "Free Me" was released as a single and reached #1 in New Zealand. It was re-relased as an expanded deluxe edition in 2004 with 6 bonus track, including session out-takes and 3 live versions recorded in 1979 (these are not the versions available on Live In Europe 1979). It was the second of three albums released by Uriah Heep, that was recorded by the line-up featuring: John Lawton Ken Hensley Mick Box Trevor Bolder .
